MORE THAN A SCHOOL

Our elementary programs address the cognitive, spiritual, social, emotional, and physical development of the child. This is accomplished by being attentive to the growing needs and the different learning styles of every student.

The elementary program aims to establish a robust structure upon which students can continue to build as they become lifelong learners. We have the goal of promoting an expansive elementary experience that allows students to uncover subjects that fascinate them. As they advance in our school, students are encouraged to continue to explore areas of interest that have been developed during their elementary years.

OUR PROGRAM

Math : Math Mammoth is a mastery-oriented program that focuses strongly on conceptual understanding. This means that it aims to help students progress through the material carefully while making sure there are no gaps in their knowledge before moving on to another topic. Math exercises, word problems, visual models, mental math, and number sense are frequently used and emphasized in the classroom.

English : To help students improve their English skills, we offer Language, Spelling, Writing, Reading and Vocabulary classes all the way through elementary school. We equip students with the tools needed to enhance their language abilities.

Science : Science class stirs students' interest in the world that surrounds them. With engaging lessons and interesting hands-on experiments, we discover the wonders of seasons, ecosystems, astronomy, botany and zoology.

Social studies : The social studies classes will bring ancient civilizations to life in the classroom. From the Greek and Roman civilizations to the first colonists in America, we will discover how our ideas and choices can shape the world. The program is filled with interesting hands-on activities that will create a thirst for learning in every student.

Bible : Biblical principles and values are taught during bible class with a focus on character formation.

Art & Music : The students enjoy art & music classes weekly. Students are encouraged to explore and develop their creativity in a fun and relaxed environment.

Gym : During gym class, students learn the value of perseverance, discipline and teamwork as they participate in group sports such as frisbee, basketball or soccer.
